WELCOME TO THE LYNWOOD MUSEUM OF VETERINARY HISTORY
170 years of Animal Medicine and Surgery in Dorset
A few years ago during a major renovation project of the Wimborne clinic of Lynwood Vets, we cleared an old loft space and were amazed with what we found. Among the old files and dusty boxes were documents dating back to the early 20th Century and numerous interesting and peculiar old pieces of equipment. Through this, and the power of the internet, the idea for this virtual cyber-museum was born. I'm really proud of what we discovered. Please take a look!

Please note, this site is still under construction, but I just couldn't bear to wait any longer before publishing it!

ABOUT MY PROJECT
Knowledge Meets Curiosity
I remember very clearly when I first got interested in veterinary history. I had just received an offer to study Veterinary Medicine at Cambridge University. My grandmother, who we knew affectionately as "Moo", talked to me about her life growing up with her grandfather, Frank Warren who was himself a vet! The vet gene skipped three generations and then came out again in me! She showed me Frank's diary and old pictures and talked to me about what life was like for a vet in the early 20th Century.
ABOUT MY PROJECT
This is a great space to update your audience with information about your video. Give them specific details like what it’s about, where and when it was filmed, and who created, directed, and is featured in it.
